First of all, I play this video on repeat simply for Florence and the Machine, but more importantly I play it on repeat because of the gorgeous couture and off the runway dresses that were worn. Nothing compares with the (mostly) classic beauty that was featured at this year’s Gala. I was literally in awe looking at pictures on twitter and getting minute updates by stylist June Ambrose, editor Joe Zee and of course, one of my personal favorite blogs, DesignerSocial. Even if you weren’t a fan of some of the clothing featured, because let’s face it, Rihanna’s dress/makeup scared me, you should still take the time to appreciate the beauty and the time and dedication that it took to create this extremely beautiful event and turn these women into perfection.
